A tiny kitchen needed a nice little update.
By removing the top cabinetry doors the space felt taller and more spacious. Painting the cabinetry and adding new handle pulls freshened up the focal point. Moving the refrigerator to an unused area opened the flow of the kitchen, adding in a small shelf where the refrigerator was added to space available in the right places* by: Mary@fortyone
Leaving the teak cabinetry we changed the flooring, back splash, lighting, countertops, faucet and adding undercabinet lighting. This changed the entire feel of the kitchen without changing anything major. by: Mary@fortyone
By adding glossy subway tiles it elevated the brand new countertops even more. by: Mary@fortyone
This adorable little nook was recently rebuilt by a master contractor, the first time we saw it we saw a cozy place for reading, dining, tv watching and making memories. It just needed some personality and warmth. The vaulted pine ceiling adds a cottage feel and wainscoting already gave a design direction. We kept it and designed with it. The floor heater is not used.
Repainting the walls colours from the ceiling and colour inspired by existing furnishings. Lighting up the colour has made is more charming, the vintage sofa, reupholstered chair, modern lamp and super fun and nature inspired draperies have made this space full personaility and yet, easy to change when the time comes. by: Mary@fortyone.
